ELO 2015: The End(s) of Electronic Literature + #Carnivast

[#Carnivast at ELO 2015] We are excited to present a fabulous program for ELO 2015 in Bergen this summer! Please be aware that the program is still slightly in flux as speakers and artists finalise their travel plans, and there may be some cancellations. Talks, workshops and exhibitions will be at the University of Bergen, Bergen Public Library and at galleries across town.

"Good News, Everyone!"

We're blisteringly pleased to inform you all that Pluto, our latest game based transmedia project with Dreaming Methods, has been shortlisted for The Space's Open Call Competition. Out of a field of approximately 600 submissions, our project has made the grade. The next step is working with our designated Associate Producer, Maria Bota, to further develop our proposal.

Signing On With Alien: Isolation

At first I suspected this write up would be a potted playthrough of the substantially well-hyped game "Alien: Isolation" - the newest storyworld incarnation to feature *that* famous double-mouthed Xenomorph. Then I decided that a playthrough would negate any valid WSOD [Willing Suspension of Disbelief] required to achieve deep immersion in this meticulously constructed game. Also, a playthrough would additionally gobble a bucketload of time I'd rather spend playing the game itself.
