This Week at MBD: Digital Fictions, Peer-Reviewing, Publications + Reviews

Alright, so this week - although only being officially half-over - has contained some absolute gems in the rampant-excitement-department: let's quickly cycle through em, shall we? #PRISOM has been delightfully analysed in "Thinking Through Digital Media", a book that: "...offers a means of conceptualizing digital media by looking at projects that think through digital media, migrating between documentary, experimental, narrative, animation, video game, and live performance.

Feedback O' The Day: Pluto

…so here I am innocently dancing away in my studio chair to this track while craft-carving away at our "Provocare" Digital Fiction, and I've just received some amazing feedback about our Dreaming Methods co-produced project "Pluto" - an Aussie Technical Writer was so impressed with what he'd seen of the project he's been inspired to start writing creatively again!

Pluto: Updates + A Shiny Preview

So I hear that certain enthusiastic individuals (here's looking at you, Electronic Literature scene) are keen to latch onto any news tidbits regarding Pluto, our current transmedia project in development with Dreaming Methods. Lucky for you then that we've just revamped our website with brand new eye-candy including a new preview trailer resting alongside some luscious imagery.

"Good News, Everyone!"

We're blisteringly pleased to inform you all that Pluto, our latest game based transmedia project with Dreaming Methods, has been shortlisted for The Space's Open Call Competition. Out of a field of approximately 600 submissions, our project has made the grade. The next step is working with our designated Associate Producer, Maria Bota, to further develop our proposal.
